Anusara emphasizes a heart–centered practice that utilizes an elegant system of biomechanically sound asanas (yoga postures). The goals of this class are to maximize function, promote healing, prevent reinjury and insure a safe reintroduction to performing the yoga asanas with grace and ease. Each class is tailored to meet the specific needs of all enrolled students.

Students leave the Therapeutic Yoga class with a greater understanding of themselves and their bodies, as well as a yoga method suitable to practice at home. Yoga’s benefits include feeling stronger, more flexible, deep relaxation and inner peace, while enjoying vibrant energy to enjoy and embrace life more fully.
