What is energy healing? Our physical bodies exist within a larger “body,” or aura. The aura contains seven primary energy vortices, called chakras. These are the circles you see depicted as red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and gold. The chakras, when healthy, metabolize energy for the body to use. When they are functioning sub optimally, problems can result. Because the chakra system is related to physical, mental, emotional, relational, and spiritual aspects of being, improving the energy dynamics in the aura can have a profound effect on achieving wellness in all of these areas.
